Description:
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Partners with Leaders and Managers to deliver the full spectrum of strategic and tactical HR services and programs to Capgemini Engineering Canada organization. Collaborate with stakeholders to frame the HR agenda enabling the business objectives, driving key initiatives across Canada based teams.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- 8 + years of HR experience preferably with technology companies!
- Sound knowledge of Canada labour laws.
- Demonstrated ability to work optimally in highly matrixed and global teams.
- Ability to lead and manage organizational change initiatives effectively. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and build consensus for decision-making.
- Aptitude for analyzing sophisticated situations, evaluating alternatives, and making sound decisions in a timely manner!
Responsibilities:
- Organizational Development: Understands the needs of the organization in terms of achieving maximum organizational performance and efficiencies. Balances business, employee, and Client’s needs. Advise and influences leadership team on key organizational and management changes.
- Talent & Performance Management: Provides advice and counsel on all performance related issues, including high potential and key talent decisions, succession planning, bonus management, performance improvement, and terminations. Coaches’ leaders to improve performance/efficiency.
- Training: Understand the training/development needs of organization and drives the upskilling programs.
- Recruiting: Participates in interview process for management and key hires.
- Employee Relations (ER): Working with ER partners, ensures delivery of ER services to managers and employees. Identifies and implements pro-active ER programs to drive improved morale and organizational performance. Leads escalated issues and dispute resolution processes.
- Compensation & Benefits: Support compensation and benefits programs (compensation planning, salary surveys etc.).
- HR Metrics: Track and report staffing, retention, attrition, and other vital data to line management; recommend programs and/or improvement as necessary.
