KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated HR Operations Manager, reporting to the Executive Director of Human Resources. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resources, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for enhancing HR processes and providing exceptional service to key stakeholders.
Leading a team of 6 HR professionals, the Manager of HR Operations is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the human resources department, ensuring efficient and effective HR processes that align with the organization’s strategic plan and business priorities. This position is a trusted partner to the Operations Leadership Team, advising on strategic workforce solutions, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, driving continuous improvement, and promoting a culture of service excellence in HR services.

EDUCATION & PROFESSIONAL DESIGNATION

  • Bachelors’ Degree in Human Resources or equivalent experience
  • Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) is preferred

Experience

  • 7+ years’ progressive and direct experience in Human Resources including Labor & Employee Relations and Talent Acquisition
  • 2+ years in a management role
  • Experience in case management of complex ability, accommodation, and performance management
  • Experience working in a complex and union environment
  • Excellent analytical skills, with strong ability in Microsoft Office tools and HRIS platforms
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Experience in healthcare related fields is considered an asset
