SKILLS AND BACKGROUND REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

• Hand-on development experience in developing web or mobile applications using Microsoft (c#) or Java or LAMP stacks.
• Proficiency with SPA app development using JavaScript frameworks like React or Angular.
• Working knowledge of web service environments, languages, and formats such as RESTful APIs, SOAP, FTP/SFTP, HTML, XML, and JSON.
• Experience in developing apps with either SQL or NoSQL technologies.
• Familiarity with cloud architecture and stacks in AWS or Azure or Google cloud.
• Designing UML diagrams for new & existing projects.
• Demonstrated SDLC experience using agile methodologies, scrum processes.
• Hands-on experience with CICD tooling: ADO, GitLab Pipelines, Gearset, etc.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and verbal/written communication (with both technical and non-technical audiences).
• Ability to lead technical discussions on a team, work in an agile environment, deliver results and manage performance of teams.
• Experience in application development and integration.
• Strong customer and results orientation.
• Ability to architect and support localized international or global application implementations.
• Excellent technical skills:
  o Familiarity with front-end framework and backend development frameworks.
  o Solid understanding of Web applications, Web APIs, Web services and microservices development.
  o Software design patterns, OOP and software architecture.

o Relational database, document databases, ORM concepts.

• Experience with change management tools and processes, including source code control, versioning, branching, defect tracking and release management.
• Ability to identify system impact for small and large-scale initiative.
• Experience with global implementations of complex applications:

o 7+ years’ experience in application development management or related field.
o 5+ years’ experience leading through the design, development, and release cycle.
o 4+ years’ experience in working through design and architecture of complex application.
o 3+ years’ experience managing direct reports.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 4 years of experience with complex, multi-national application implementations.
• Experience in project management.
• Experience with international or multi-level marketing business.
• Experience with cloud based applications.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science or equivalent.

The Application Management Manager leads a team, focusing on ensuring on-time and accurate delivery of team goals. This role coordinates with other cross-functional teams to ensure delivery. The manager collaborates, defining priorities and supervising the system development process, tracking the progress of the activities but also participates in the analysis, design and support of system solutions. The manager works closely with the Product and Quality Assurance team members to define and communicate status and results of planned work.
The Manager leads a team that translates business and integration requirements into configurable web and mobile solutions. The manager is responsible of providing good technical solutions for integrated systems, maintaining direct accountability for quality and uptime of complex application running on different platforms.
