Description:
The role Your responsibilities will involve managing state-wide improvement initiatives that will improve patient outcomes whilst: - managing multiple concurrent improvement projects (e.g. statewide sepsis program, preterm birth prevention project, stillbirth prevention project)- providing expert advice on implementation science, including coaching your immediate team and the teams they support- managing a small team, budgets, resources, and project activities- reporting progress and outcomes- overseeing the creation of high-quality marketing and educational materials to accompany program activitiesTo achieve the key objectives above, you will need to proactively engage with key internal and external stakeholders, providing authoritative advice to senior management and clients (including written briefs where required).
The successful personTo excel in this role, you must possess expertise in project management and implementing quality improvement methods within a complex healthcare environment. You will need exceptional communication skills and be adept at managing stakeholder relationships.
You should demonstrate a history of effective team leadership, fostering an atmosphere where staff are nurtured, developed, and encouraged to achieve their utmost potential. Your proficiency should also encompass successfully steering complex projects in clinical settings, employing comprehensive project management and change management methodologies to deliver results within specified timeframes and budgets.
A clinical background would be an advantage. Travel may be a requirement of this position.
