QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the investment industry/financial services as a wholesaler, business development manager, advisor, or similar roles.
- Post-secondary education or equivalent experience.
- Obtaining or attaining industry-specific designations such as CFA, CFP, CIM, CLU, or similar designations.
- Experience specifically with Mutual Funds and ETF products.
- Working knowledge of investment products, tools, and sales concepts.
- Must be keen on being aware of in-depth market trends.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to network and build solid relationships with clients.
- Demonstrated ability to work within a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Previous people leadership experience is a strong asset

Responsibilities:
ROLE SUMMARY:
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Manager, Inside Sales to play an integral role within the Purpose sales team. If you are looking to join an entrepreneurial, motivated, and innovative team, we would love to hear from you!
As a Manager, Inside Sales, you will be a key coach for the inside sales team at Purpose. You will also be responsible for working with Advisors to help manage their business, building brand awareness in the market, representing Purpose Investments at client events, and developing the overall sales strategy.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Act as the point of contact and manage the inside sales team and sales support team members.
- Involved in the recruiting and training of new business development managers alongside the Head of Advisor Sales.
- Reporting and analyzing the inside sales teams’ metrics and targets.
- Set up weekly and daily meetings with the inside sales team to discuss challenges, wins, and targets.
- Use of data strategically to manage, coach, and evaluate the team and their effectiveness
- Build a structured sales process to promote client acquisition
- Help motivate and encourage a communicative, collaborative, and positive work environment for the inside sales team.
- Build awareness of the brand and products through consistent contact and the implementation of a sales strategy.
- Take initiative in developing and/or participating in sales strategy development, building campaigns, and other projects/duties as required.
- Develop and share ongoing best practices, sales, and business development ideas and strategies with peers and their advisor relationships.
- Coordinates closely with marketing, product, and wholesalers to gather insights and understand clients’ unique needs, market conditions, and competitors.
- Represent Purpose at client events, give presentations at industry events, and support clients at investor seminars.
- Step into business development activities when needed to provide coverage for inside sales team members and their respective territories.
