QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in commerce/economics; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years in the financial services industry, with experience in client services and Real Estate.
  • Diploma in Urban Land Economics or similar preferred.

CORE COMPETENCIES (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES):

  • Experience with Fixed Income and Private Debt a plus
  • Superior interpersonal and relationship-building skills and customer-focused approach.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Primary Accountabilities:Client Service:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and their consultants.
  • Address service requirements, account and product management inquiries, and detailed information requests.
  • Understand and respond to client needs, leveraging the organization’s capabilities.
  • Prepare loan packages, coordinate capital calls and monitor loan modifications where applicable.
  • Ensure compliance with investment guidelines and Limited Partnership Agreements (LPAs

Responsibilities:

The Manager, Institutional Client Service, will report to the Executive Managing Director, Global Head of Capital raising (or MD, Head of Canadian Institutional) and be responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with institutional clients invested in our debt strategies, customized mandates and/or loan sharing relationships. This role focuses on establishing, retaining and growing relationships with mid-sized to large institutional clients, some of which are customized with their own investment and reporting requirements. The Manager, Institutional Client Services will collaborate closely with the Institutional Relationship Management team, Portfolio Management, Underwriting, Risk Management, Operations, Investor Services and other key team members to ensure exceptional client service and satisfaction.
