Nutrition International’s External Relations team is a dedicated global team of advocacy and communications experts. The team is responsible for positioning NI for influence and resources, and leads global government relations, thought leadership and policy advocacy across the organization, as well as corporate communications, brand awareness, storytelling and digital communications. Currently, Nutrition International is seeking applications for a Manager, Internal Communications to be based in Ottawa, Canada.

Responsibilities:
The Manager, Internal Communications is a senior member of the global External Relations Unit and is responsible for overseeing the execution of our global internal strategy, which aims to engage staff and improve the flow of information across our 11 global offices.
The Manager oversees the production of a regular internal newsletter and maintains content and updates on our Enterprise SharePoint site. They also support other units in framing and publishing critical updates, ensuring clear, accurate and timely dissemination of news and updates to all staff. They also work closely with the People and Culture unit, helping to ensure consistent and quality staff engagement and training.
In this role you will:
- Lead the development and implementation of internal newsletters and other staff-focused communications.
- Supervise content management and creation of staff resources on SharePoint / staff intranet, working alongside IT/IM team to ensure best practices in information management.
- Support onboarding of all new staff via packaging of resources, including developing and leading key messaging training.
- Lead planning and execution of twice-annual global Town Hall alongside Front Office Unit.
- Lead planning and execution of annual staff awards, alongside People & Culture Unit.
- Participate in Social Committee (Canada HQ office-specific) and support Country and Regional offices on their own social and team-building activities.
- Manage relationship with Ottawa Food Bank (Canada HQ office-specific).
