Description:

Do you have a passion for matrix leadership and inventory and material management?
We are looking for a skilled and highly motivated person to join and strengthen our Supply and Material Management Team in the Services Business Line Supply Chain.
In this Services Business Line level role, you are responsible for management and development of inventory and material management. You are responsible for leading, harmonizing, and developing global inventory and material management processes, including inventory control process within the Services Business Line. You are responsible for the inventory management tools, inventory reporting and you participate in the reporting tools development. You communicate actively and engage key stakeholders at senior level and operational level. You will be leading the global material management team in matrix which includes team members from business units and business areas. You support business units and areas to optimize inventory levels and material management process. You will be key user for GIM solution (Global Inventory Management) and you have competence to held trainings when necessary. You identify and drive proactively development ideas and manage change in your responsibility area.

To be successful in this role, you need to:

  • Be result driven and have solid experience and knowledge of the supply chain and logistics industry and essentially in Inventory Management. Minimum of 6 years of progressively responsible on driving service, process, and inventory reduction improvements.
  • At least 5 years of managerial experiences to integrate multinational and multidisciplinary groups and teams with proven track record.
  • You have good IT skills and excellent analytical skills. Advanced understanding of systems, processes and tools related to field.
  • Must have master’s degree for example in Economics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration and/or Engineering.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and influence team members across different functions, geography, and levels.
  • You have co-operative attitude and genuine drive and desire to make success within Valmet. Fluent English, both written and oral, is essential.
