Description:
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for inventory planning and control of medical supplies inventory within the Materials Management organization from 3 rd Party Just in Time (JIT) LUM, MD Anderson Warehouses, Storerooms located in TMC and HALs, all PAR locations in order to promote effective patient care and safety and cash flow and working capital efficiency
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Five years of experience in inventory, logistics or a related field to include three years of supervisory/managerial experience. May substitute required education degree with additional years of equivalent experience on a one to one basis. Successful completion of the LEADing Self Accelerate and/or LEADing Self Discover programs may substitute for one year of required supervisory or management experience. Completion of both programs can be substituted for a maximum of two years of supervisory or management experience.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
Inventory planning and control experience, healthcare supply chain experience, proficient in Excel, specifically Pivot tables. Must feel comfortable gathering/consolidating, sorting and presenting data to executive leadership. Experience managing inventory and a team of analysts or similar that are responsible for inventory accuracy and tracking the financials.

Must pass pre-employment skills test as required and administered by Human Resources.
