EDUCATION

• Degree (ideally Ph.D. level) in chemistry, materials science, physics, mechanical engineering, or other relevant semiconductor engineering discipline.
• We especially welcome applications from people who are qualified patent attorneys or partially qualified to become one in any major jurisdiction (EP, US, KR, or JP).
• Other candidates with a background in semiconductor manufacturing and a strong motivation, ability and willingness to become patent professionals are also welcomed to apply.

EXPERIENCE

• You will have a foundation and/or desire for drafting patent applications and office actions, managing an IP portfolio, and coordinating outside legal counsel work.
• You have been self-driven and capable of operating with a degree of autonomy

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Able to generate IP effectively in a multicultural, dynamic and demanding high tech environment
• able to analyze IP situation as well as relevant future IP developments to conceptualize this into reliable intellectual property assets
• able to communicate a complex message clearly
• able to understand multiple and varying interests and cultural backgrounds of stakeholders and act accordingly
