Your Future Team
As an IT Governance Manager at Hightower Advisors, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective governance of IT operations. You will be responsible for the collection and synthesis of data into meaningful metrics, coordinating audit and regulatory responses, and analyzing departmental performance. Your expertise will contribute to the overall efficiency and compliance of the IT department, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.

What You’ll Do

  • Metrics/Departmental Performance Ownership:
  • Collect and synthesize data into meaningful metrics that can be tracked over time.
  • Periodically present metrics to leadership and stakeholders to inform decision-making.
  • Identify areas for improvement based on performance metrics and implement necessary changes.
  • Audit/Regulatory Response, Readiness, and Coordination:
  • Coordinate the completion of quarterly attestations and compile materials for submission to auditors.
  • Analyze department efficiency, resourcing, and service levels to ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct data analysis and apply critical thinking to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with various teams to ensure readiness for audits and regulatory reviews.
  • Resource Allocation and Tracking
  • Oversee the implementation of the new time tracking and capacity management system, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between stakeholders, including leadership, IT Finance, Project Management, Resource Managers, and Resources to maintain the daily operations of the system.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Leverage the system to design reporting and dashboards that can be used to measure departmental performance.

What You’ll Bring

  • Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in IT governance, risk management, consulting, or a related role.
  • Proven experience in data analysis and performance metrics.
  • Skills and Competencies:
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and audit processes.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques
