- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Management:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of IT professionals, including system administrators, network engineers, and support staff.
- Develop and implement IT strategies and initiatives aligned with the company’s business objectives.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the IT department, ensuring the efficient delivery of services.
- Infrastructure Management:
- Manage the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware, software, and network systems.
- Ensure the availability, reliability, and scalability of IT infrastructure to support business operations.
- Oversee the management of data centers, servers, networks, and
telecommunications systems.
- Security & Compliance:
- Develop and enforce IT security policies, procedures, and protocols to protect the company’s data and systems.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards, including data protection and privacy laws.
- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments, and implement appropriate measures to mitigate risks.
- Project Management:
- Plan, execute, and manage IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and new technology implementations.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify technology needs and provide solutions that enhance business processes.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure successful delivery.
- Vendor & Budget Management:
- Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts and ensuring the delivery of quality services.
- Prepare and manage the IT department’s budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions and efficient use of resources.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and systems that align with the company’s strategic goals.
- User Support & Training:
- Oversee the provision of technical support and troubleshooting to end-users, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance the IT skills of employees across the organization.
- Ensure the IT team delivers high-quality customer service and support.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management, including leadership roles. Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and cloud technologies.
Experience with IT security, data protection, and compliance.
- Proven project management experience, with the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP) are highly desirable.
