Job Title: Manager - Learning & Development (L&D)
Department: Human Resources
Location: Dubai, UAE
Employment Type: Full-time

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) is a plus.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in learning and development, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in designing and implementing L&D strategies in the UAE/Gulf region, with a deep understanding of local corporate culture.
  • Skills:
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Expertise in adult learning principles and training methodologies.
  • Knowledge of learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning tools.
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: AED12,000.00 - AED14,000.00 per mont

Responsibilities:

  • Training Needs Analysis & Program Design:
  • Conduct needs assessments across all departments to identify skill gaps and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive learning and development strategies aligned with the company’s objectives.
  • Design, develop, and implement both in-house and external training programs tailored to various employee levels.
  • Training Delivery & Facilitation:
  • Lead the delivery of training sessions, workshops, and seminars.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and trainers to ensure high-quality learning experiences.
  • Ensure training materials are up-to-date, relevant, and engaging.
  • Leadership Development:
  • Develop leadership programs to enhance management and executive skills.
  • Design succession planning initiatives and career progression pathways for high-potential employees.
  • Employee Engagement & Retention:
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development across all levels.
  • Create opportunities for employees to engage in skill-building and career growth programs, driving high employee satisfaction and retention.
  • L&D Metrics & Reporting:
  • Measure the effectiveness of training programs using key performance indicators (KPIs), employee feedback, and performance improvements.
  • Regularly report on learning outcomes, training success, and areas for improvement to senior leadership.
  • Budget Management:
  • Manage the learning and development budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness in training investments.
  • Allocate resources effectively to ensure timely and impactful training solutions.
  • Compliance & Certification:
  • Ensure that all training programs comply with local regulations and industry standards.
  • Manage employee certifications and professional development milestones.
  • Technology & Learning Platforms:
  • Implement and maintain learning management systems (LMS) and other e-learning platforms.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends in L&D technologies to enhance training delivery.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
  • Partner with department heads, managers, and employees to understand learning requirements and provide tailored solutions.
  • Promote cross-department collaboration to ensure L&D initiatives meet organizational goals.
