Description:
Responsibilities:
- Lead the logistic team in the execution of transportation activities
- Collaborate with Production Coordination, Procurement, Project Management and other stakeholders to optimize logistics with supply chain needs
- Work closely with production planning to synchronize logistics with production schedules
- With your team, drive the negotiations with shipping companies, transporters, and logistics service providers to ensure proper and favorable contract coverage
- “Productize” the heavy shipment arrangements to secure repeated success
- Enhance and secure the processes to ensure efficient execution and collaboration with required stakeholders
- Oversee the heavy transportation activities, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- Define and implement comprehensive KPIs to support continuous process and operations development
- Support team development and performance through coaching and performance management
- Responsible for the department’s contribution to the business units’ P&L through effective cost managemen
