Description:

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in equipment service or supply chain
  • Strong time management, organizational, scheduling and forecasting skills
  • Ability to model positive leadership attitude, even in the face of difficult circumstances
  • Experience with labour relations
  • Computer skills including familiarity with MS Office applications
  • Conflict resolution skills
  • SAP and logistics knowledge
  • Analytical and problem solving skills

Responsibilities:

  • Demand excellence in performance, meeting and exceeding key metrics within a positive, safe and inclusive work environment
  • Manage all expectations relating to the successful operation of a stand-alone CCCBL facility (Chatham MRC) For example; active in the JHSC, building maintenance, community involvement, etc
  • Develop and execute a Departmental Business Plan that is in line with short term and long-term company strategy
  • Supportive Leadership, clearly communicating the Vision, Mission, Imperatives and Values of CCCBL.
  • Lead from the front, acknowledging and demonstrating, through your daily actions, The Behaviours We Owe Each Other in line with company values.
  • Coach and mentor direct reports in a constructive environment, allowing for individual growth and development.
  • Ethical participation with internal and external customers including Original Equipment Manufacturers, adhering to all internal control procedures.
  • Focus in areas of personal development, supported by a mindset of continuous improvement.
  • Develop and share best practice through a cadence of scheduled communication strategies.
  • Manage equipment inventory, parts inventory variances and Key Improvement Processes for Make Ready Centres
  • Manage and respond to quality issues and collaborate with outside contractors to transport equipment
  • Ability to build internal and external relationships
