EDUCATION
Bachelor’s Degree or higher education in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Bio) or an equivalent related degree.
EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years of industry experience or experience in a similar industry
- Capital management
- PMP certification is helpful
- Green-Belt training is helpful
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

Responsibilities:
- Generates standard work plans/flows for project engineering function and ensures execution of all required work streams.
- Develops project engineering staff through development plans, setting objectives and enabling personal growth and training opportunities.
- Works with internal customers to scope, plan, and implement site-wide projects in order to meet financial and manufacturing targets
- Understands bio-process equipment design, procurement, installation, commissioning and validation.
- Understand and provides direction on new building design, GMP clean-room design, automation infrastructure design, clean utility design and general site related projects.
- Supports the generation of structured work-plans and consistently works to improve department workflow and standards.
- Partners with Quality, Manufacturing, Validation, Facilities and Site Management to complete projects without impeding production.
- Leads monthly roll-up of project budgets and expense budget associated with process equipment repairs.
- Supports planning of new process development lab equipment needs and other general site equipment needs when required.
- Works closely with finance to achieve targets of each individual project.
- Works with procurement to develop equipment vendor relationships and assist in bid evaluation to ensure the best pricing on new equipment.
- Works with Director of Engineering to Generate and Maintain the Site Master Plan.
- Organizes, prepares for and presents project engineering portfolio on a monthly basis.
