Position Overview
Notre Dame at Kylemore seeks an innovative Marketing and Communications Manager to drive our strategic communications in the west of Ireland. This prestigious role combines Notre Dame’s world-class educational mission with the iconic Kylemore Abbey, where you’ll craft compelling narratives for our academic, executive, creative and cultural initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute data-driven marketing strategies to enhance Kylemore’s market presence
- Implement and oversee marketing protocols, including communication standards and response frameworks
- Craft engaging content highlighting our diverse offerings: academic conferences, academic programming, retreats, and professional development programs
- Lead website optimization and SEO initiatives to boost digital engagement
- Foster seamless communication between campus teams and global centre networks
- Develop strategic post-program engagement to strengthen participant relationships
- Establish and enforce brand guidelines across all platforms
- Create compelling visual and written content to showcase events
- Build and maintain strong relationships with faculty, staff, and partners
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or equivalent field
- Demonstrated success in marketing educational or cultural initiatives
- Excellence in narrative development and written communication
- Proven expertise in digital marketing and SEO strategies
- Strong project management and relationship-building capabilities
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in dynamic environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Track record in educational or cultural organization marketing
- Familiarity with Catholic higher education principles
- Proficiency in visual storytelling and photography
- International marketing experience
- Understanding of Irish cultural heritage
