Grammarly is excited to offer a remote-first hybrid working model. Grammarly team members in this role must be based in the United States, and, depending on business needs, they must meet in person for collaboration weeks, traveling, if necessary, to the hub(s) where their team is based.

THE OPPORTUNITY
To achieve our ambitious goals, we’re looking for a Manager, Marketing Operations to join our Marketing team. This role will contribute to Grammarly’s vision of building a comprehensive, AI-powered communication assistant that helps people connect with and understand each other by further growing and connecting our consumers across the globe.

As a Manager, Marketing Operations, you will:
- Manage and develop a team focused on achieving Grammarly’s lifecycle revenue goals across both our B2C and B2B business lines.
- Act as a player/coach who ensures the team feels supported and that their capacity is effectively managed in a quantifiable way.
- Establish and maintain strong collaborative relationships across the organization, particularly with Lifecycle, Growth, and other key stakeholders. Facilitate seamless communication and alignment to drive shared objectives.
- Oversee the creation, implementation, and optimization of marketing operations processes, ensuring they are adaptable, scalable, and aligned with business goals.
- Lead change management efforts to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Oversee the execution of campaigns across various marketing channels, enhancing email marketing automation capabilities.
- Ensure technical strategies, database hygiene, and audience segmentation are optimized for maximum impact.
- Proactively monitor and report on campaign performance using tools like Databricks and Tableau.
- Ensure robust tracking mechanisms are in place and that data-driven insights are used to inform strategic decisions.
- Own email deliverability in Iterable and manage the overall health of Grammarly’s email program.
- Optimize and grow Grammarly’s In-Product Messaging (IPM) practice in alignment with the company goals.
- Drive continuous improvement in email performance, conversions, and automation testing.
- Provide strategic input to influence the direction of marketing operations.
- Identify opportunities for innovation and process improvements that align with Grammarly’s overall business objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of experience leading and managing marketing operations teams with a proven track record of developing talent and driving team performance.
- Will thrive in dynamic environments and is adept at managing change, with a strong ability to pivot strategies and processes as needed.
- Has demonstrated the ability to align stakeholders, details, and timelines toward a common goal, fostering strong relationships across teams.
- Is experienced in designing, implementing, and optimizing marketing operations processes, with a focus on scalability and efficiency.
- Is familiar with the Customer Data Platform (CDP) landscape and has experience managing data pipelines with tools such as Hightouch or ActionIQ.
- Is experienced in executing email marketing campaigns in platforms like Iterable, Klayvio or Braze, with the ability to modify HTML/CSS code.
- Is skilled in campaign reporting and analysis, with a keen eye for insights, learnings, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Is experienced in documenting campaigns and processes, with a strategic approach to improving lead scoring, routing, email deliverability, and automation rules.
- Has proven experience in driving change management to support the adoption of new tools.
