About the role

Group Treasury is responsible for important balance sheet management activities including Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) and reporting of the liquidity metrics: Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR) and the Net Stable Funding Ratio (NSFR). The OFSAA platform delivers these important processes and requires ongoing maintenance and enhancement to incorporate any changes in products or front line systems.
ANZ Markets are embarking on a substantial program of work (TLC) to uplift and simplify their systems and products. This role has been created to support these changes by assessing, managing and implementing the necessary changes in OFSAA to ensure ongoing accuracy in OFSAA results.
The role will entail coordinating with treasury, market risk, front office, Murex SMEs and the TLC project team.
This is a great opportunity to gain Treasury experience and visibility across all ANZ businesses/geographies and products as well as the underlying systems and data, while working in a dynamic and specialised team.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand existing processes combined with upstream changes in products and systems
  • Validate test results achieve the agreed outcomes
  • Ensure agreed delivery timelines are met
  • Ensure Treasury requirements are managed especially relating to new products or new booking methods
  • Determine whether new OFSAA configuration is needed and implement via the established change management processes
  • Ensure downstream users of OFSAA data can consume the data as required
  • Resolve issues or escalate them as required
  • Any new or updated assumptions have been reviewed, are supported by evidence and are approved by the relevant stakeholders
  • Ensure adherence to relevant policies, eg FTP, Interest Rate in the Banking Book and Liquidity
  • Documenting all new requirements and their interdependencies as well as update existing documentation

    What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Proven Markets or Treasury experience.
  • Good understanding of Markets products.
  • Highly quantitative and numerate.
  • Navigate complex processes to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with a variety of stakeholders and senior management.
  • Knowledge of relevant APRA standards, eg APS 117, APS 210.
  • Project management and planning.
  • Working knowledge of OFSAA system.
  • Tertiary qualification in finance or other quantitative discipline.
  • Post graduate or professional qualifications would be a benefit.
