Job Description
We are looking to add a Manager, Media Planner to our team. Most of the team is based in New York City, NY and meets in person periodically. However, while this is a hybrid role, we are open to remote candidates based in continental United States who are an exceptional fit for the role. You will join a supportive team and work with a client that sees us as a true partner.
You will report to the Associate Director, Media Planner, and you, yourself, will manage 3 direct reports (Associates and Senior Associates). You will help manage the daily tasks by assuring focus on important client goals and communicating appropriate resource needs to meet ongoing client goals. You will also get to demonstrate your working knowledge of the media space (both Traditional & Digital) and available media research and systems.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of media planning experience
  • 2+ years of media planning in the TV, CTV, Social and digital landscape
  • 2+ years of experience with Media Ocean, DDS, Nielsen Ad Intel, Pathmatics, Media Tools, Web Analytics, Ad Servers, Media Research tools
  • Understanding of planning sponsorship campaigns on a national and local level
  • Experience promoting collaborative relationships with other teams
  • Comfortable working with budgets/numbers and an understanding of mathematical concepts
  • Experience facilitating growth and managing and/ or mentoring / training multiple team members

Responsibilities:

  • Understanding of media channels and experience coordinating across multiple media disciplines with a heavy focus on TV/CTV/Social/Digital/Local/Audio
  • 2-3+ years of experience with upper funnel media awareness campaigns
  • Coordinate with creative agencies on creative assets and accounts needs
  • Coordinate with multi-channel teams to design modern, strategic and thoughtful integrated media plans across a myriad of awareness-based channels (TV, CTV, Video, Social, Programmatic and Audio)
  • Comfort overseeing and communicating directly with clients on questions and media plans
  • Experience with local media planning and understanding of the marketplace
  • Help evaluate timelines and manage daily deliverables
  • Experience w/ analyzing competitive landscapes, pulling reports using agency tools and compiling insights
  • Manage a large Media Budget and Flowchart
  • Guide media channel selection and forward think on new opportunities
  • Manage Sr. Associate and Associate levels on daily basis
