The Opportunity
This hybrid Ecommerce and Marketing role, Reporting to the Sr. Manager Medical eCommerce, the Manager, Medical Ecommerce for Spectrum is responsible for supporting the end-to-end medical Direct to Consumer business including shop.spectrumtherapeutics.com and SpectrumTherapeutics.com. This role supports activities in order to achieve key objectives across the eCommerce funnel including acquisition, conversion and retention. The Manager, Medical Ecommerce should have a firm grasp of different digital touch points and be able to create assets involving design and copy. The Manager, Medical Ecommerce should have a firm grasp of digital and traditional marketing techniques and will be required to support various projects and campaigns. We are looking for someone who has a passion for health, wellness and the Cannabis space, is well organized and can work independently.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver the company’s Canada Medical eCommerce goals by leading the strategies and optimizations of the website to increase traffic, revenue, acquisition, conversion, and retention.
  • Oversee the Spectrum brand site to support the patient and HCP education as well as learnings around Spectrum Therapeutics and medical cannabis in Canada.
  • Support projects focused on improving the customer experience for prospect and current members of Spectrum Therapeutics.
  • Ensure flawless execution and on time launch of digital initiatives, new products, promotions and content updates.
  • Support the Sr. Manager with IT functions involving the creating of JIRA tickets and seeing the tasks through to UAT
  • Lead the visual strategy through blogs, web pages and website taxonomy For the Spectrum brand site.
  • Support the Spectrum eCommerce DTC team and cross-functional efforts, day-to-day operations, and enhancements roadmap with the goal of creating a positive and seamless consumer experience.
  • Leverage data to track campaign progress, share results, customer insights and present optimization opportunities to key stakeholders.
  • Create assets in support of Spectrum patient and HCP emails and sales assets
  • Support with the creation of digital assets for the Spectrum websites including imagery and copy
  • Support SEO efforts and ensure that Spectrum is following the latest SEO trends and practices
  • Contribute on an ongoing basis to the development of the medical cannabis brand strategy and lead development and execution of brand positioning, acquisition strategy and tactical plans
  • Translate brand strategy into actionable plans, positioning and go-to-market activities
  • Engage cross functional stakeholders on real-time supply dynamics.
  • Develop and manage changes to regulatory documents such as Medical Documents and registrations.
  • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and Agency Partners to deliver impactful and insight-driven campaigns and collateral for patients, HCPs, veterans and clinics.
  • Assess market trends, consumer markets, and competitors to recognize challenges and opportunities related to target disease states.
  • Ensure that all marketing activities follow regulatory and legal requirements.
  • Partner with the sales force to ensure materials are appropriate and effective and that the team has a clear Plan of Action.

Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a successful Associate Manager in the healthcare, consumer package goods or cannabis industries.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in project management with strong ability to manage details across teams.
  • Excellent analytical and strategic skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to lead, interact with, focus, resolve conflict and drive consensus among individuals from a variety of cultures, and disciplines.
  • Strategic capabilities with ability to conceive, develop and implement multidimensional marketing and business plans.
  • Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Creative and innovative thinker, multimedia savvy and well-organized, with a curiosity and enthusiasm for digital trends.
  • Intermediate knowledge of website platforms.
  • Intermediate knowledge of web analytics.
