Job Description
The Manager of Merchandising and Display is responsible for the creation and tactical development of visual merchandising strategies that drive sales, conversion and enhances the overall customer experience. This role owns visual merchandising strategic planning and execution end-to-end including: budget, overarching strategic vision, identifying creative execution tactics, project management of timelines/budget and communicating strategies to senior leadership. The role is accountable for managing numerous vendor relationships and negotiating pricing and SLAs. This role has end-to-end ownership of the merchandising budget. They will be responsible for developing the full year financial roadmap based on year over year spend, projected pipeline expenses and fiscal overarching business priorities. They will also be responsible for tracking the spend to the allocated budget, monitoring expenses and adjusting spend throughout the year to ensure all operational costs reside within budget.
VISUAL MERCHANDISING STRATEGIC PLANNING AND OBJECTIVE SETTING TO DRIVE RETAIL SALES GROWTH & IMPROVE THE IN-STORE EXPERIENCE (30%)
Plan and execute the appropriate merchandising strategy required to launch national campaigns. Function as an innovator and partner with various teams in marketing, operations, brand, products and logistics to develop tactics that drive sales and conversion in store via engaging merchandising displays. Develop new innovative retail initiatives and displays that evolve the visual merchandising approach.
