Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
Through our New Graduate Technology program, Intact is proactively cultivating a vibrant talent ecosystem for the future. Collaborating closely with leaders within our Information Technology sector, we’re forecasting the skills of tomorrow in strategic areas. Our long-term vision is to fulfill business requirements by investing in the potential of new graduates and fostering their growth, essentially fueling the continued success of our organization.
In the role of a New Graduate Program Manager, your leadership will be crucial in formulating and implementing strategies to draw in, nurture, and keep the brightest new graduates in engineering and computer science. You will be a key member of the recruitment committee and you will guide program participants through their rotational assignments, accompanying them from their initiation into the program, right through to their graduation and subsequent placements into key areas of our business.
This position reports to the Director, IT Business Office and will work closely with the IT leadership team and the Future Talent team.
What you’ll do here:
Strategy and Program Management:
- Work alongside top technology executives and leaders to shape and execute the Technology New Grad Program.
- Monitor key performance indicators and consistently update leadership on project progress.
- Maintain the competitive edge of the program by staying informed about the latest technology trends, industry shifts, and best practices in talent management.
Recruitment & Onboarding:
- Partner closely with the Future Talent team to recruit participants for the Technology New Grad Program and be a key player for our intern’s development, engagement, and their conversion process.
- Plan and supervise their onboarding and integration process.
Talent Development and Management:
- Offer guidance and mentorship to New Grad team members, fostering their growth and achievement through personalized performance goals and learning plans.
- Align technology rotation assignments with the development plans of New Grads.
- Ensure successful program management to support training and development activities.
