Accountable for the delivery of high quality nursing care and for the administrative management of the nursing unit on a 24 hour basis. Fulfills all duties and responsibilities associated with the unit manager position.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• California Registered Nurse License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• Upon hire: NNR required for employees in L&D, NICU, Nursery, Postpartum. Transfers into areas that require this certification at the time of hire for selected positions have within 180 days of completion of clinical orientation to complete the requirement. NNR required within 90 days from date of hire for employees in Postpartum and within 180 days of completion of clinical orientation for other Employees.
• California Fire and Life Safety Card - National Organization within 30 days of hire.
• 5 years experience within specialty.
• 3 years Supervisory experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master’s Degree in Nursing
• Managerial experience
