Description:

Benefits Manager
Our client, a global automotive supplier, located in Southfield, MI is looking for a Benefits Manager to join their team on an interim basis. The ideal candidate has vast experience with the benefits annual enrollment process, has used Alight and has exposure to Union/Plant benefits.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILL SETS:

  • Proficient in coordinating Annual Enrollment processes for employee benefits.
  • Experience in conducting New Hire Orientations, particularly in explaining benefits.
  • Proficiency in Benefits Administration, including managing and overseeing benefit programs and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the annual enrollment process for employee benefits ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
  • Coordinate benefits and administer them effectively across the organization.
  • Handle new hire orientations, ensuring employees understand the benefits package.
  • Ensure compliance with Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) guidelines.
  • Collaborate with union representatives to understand and manage Union/Plant benefits.
