Envirosearch Operations was created in 2001 to specialize in providing water and wastewater operations services to non-municipal owners of water and wastewater treatment facilities in the Province of Ontario. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Post-secondary education with a focus on Accounting/Bookkeeping or equivalent experience.
- Achieved or currently working towards a Chartered Professional Accountants (CPA) designation is an asset.
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in a related role.
- Strong working knowledge of using accounting software and invoicing processes. Experience with QuickBooks is an asset.
- High level of skills with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Work).
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) is an asset.
- Positive, responsible, and self-motivated, with demonstrated exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Must be able to work independently with little supervision and be able to work quickly with high accuracy to manage high volumes of paper processing and repetitive tasks.
- A desire to learn and take initiative to always improve.
- The ability to efficiently multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with active listening.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively and diligently with individuals, and as a team.
- Proven experience in a supervisory role.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the client invoicing process, which includes invoicing work product, purchases, and billable items using a monthly invoice. Verify and process invoices within the accounting software, including providing monthly reports.
- Review all invoices to ensure appropriate documentation, contract adherence and approval prior to submission.
- Oversee processing of Expense Reports, entering expenses into the company’s accounting software, and finalizing payment once packages are completed.
- Conduct general processing of account payables and account receivables, including processing incoming cheques and EFTs and production of associated financial reports.
- Coordinate with the Asset and Inventory Logistics Specialist to execute requested credit applications, and to further develop the procurement program within the Company.
- Oversee processing of purchase orders, and verify appropriate documentation is received to work in collaboration with the Director of Finance for payment.
- Coordinate with the Quality Assurance Lead to integrate the Operations CMS for use by the Accounting team.
- In coordination with the Director of Finance, establish monthly and quarterly closing procedures for the purpose of submitting government reports.
- Coordinate monthly and quarterly closing procedures to support the completion of the year-end submissions with the Director of Finance.
- Complete monthly reconciliations of credit accounts.
- Collaborate with the Director of Finance to establish routine budget and system reporting to the executive management team.
- Other duties as assigned.
