Description:

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Manager of FP& A in the construction/contractor industry. This role is located in Nashville, Tennessee and plays a central role in our finance department. The individual will be instrumental in providing key financial insights and analysis to support strategic decisions and overall financial management of the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and enhance the financial forecasting and budgeting processes to ensure accurate and efficient communication of financial results.
  • Collaborate closely with both financial and non-financial stakeholders in the analysis of business performance and development of future plans.
  • Analyze and report on financial trends for senior management to evaluate company’s performance against budgets and forecasts.
  • Oversee the coordination of all levels of management to gather, analyze, and communicate recommendations on financial trends, revenues, and business productivity.
  • Lead cross-functional projects and supervise the work of a team of financial analysts.
  • Ensure the efficient implementation of financial models and analytical techniques to support financial planning and control activities.
  • Assist in the management of the preparation of the official annual report of actual revenues, transfers, and expenses.
  • Use software tools such as 3M, Accounting Software Systems, Adaptive Insights, CRM, EPM for efficient accounting functions and annual budget processes.
  • Utilize your skills in Capital Management and Business Unit management to effectively drive financial planning and reporting.
  • Must possess at least 7 years of relevant experience in the construction/contractor industry
  • Proficiency in 3M, Accounting Software Systems, Adaptive Insights, CRM, and EPM is necessary
  • Should have a deep understanding of Accounting Functions, Annual Budget, Budget Processes, Business Unit, and Capital Management
  • Proven ability to manage annual budget and budget processes for a large business unit
  • Strong skills in capital management and financial planning
  • Proven track record in managing financial planning and analysis for a large business unit
  • Must have excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Experience in collaborating with a diverse team of professionals to achieve business objectives
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required
  • Advanced degree like an MBA is preferred
  • Professional certification such as CPA or CMA is a plus
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country where the job is located
  • Must be willing to comply with pre-employment screening requirements.
