Description:
PROGRAM: Housing and Facilities
LOCATION: Kamloops, BC
STATUS: Full-Time
HOURS of WORK: 40 hours per week
SCHEDULE: Monday to Friday. Generally, daytime schedule, with flexible hours to meet the needs of the clients and the program. On-call responsibility on a rotational basis as part of the after-hours emergency on-call team.
REPORTS TO: Director of Housing and Facilities
COMPENSATION: $69,596 - $82,700 annually ($33.46 - $39.76 per hour)

REQUIREMENTS
- A valid BC Class 5 Driver’s Licence
- Own reliable vehicle insured with Business Use/ $5 Million liability. (reimbursement for increased premiums is provided).
- Consent to Criminal Record Check. (Reimbursement with a receipt upon hire)
- Flexible availability to work evenings or weekends as necessary
- Following training is required and provided to the successful candidate free of charge. Existing certification is an asset: Emergency First Aid with CPR-C, Mandt (R), Naloxone, SafeTALK, Privacy and Information Sharing, Anti-Bullying, and Harassment.
- Physical requirements of the job include:
- • Traveling between multiple housing sites regularly, sometimes across different communities
- Conducting property inspections, which may require walking, standing, bending, climbing stairs, or accessing different areas of housing facilities.
- Lifting or moving objects up to 25 lbs (e.g., small equipment, documents, or supplies).
- Working both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions when inspecting properties or responding to emergencies
