EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Should have at least 3 years experience managing an inventory team
  • Proficiency in Utilizing PFEP (Plan for Every Part) Methodology preferred
  • Proficiency in Utilizing MRP (Material Requirements Planning) Methodology preferred

Responsibilities:

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB

As the Manager of inventory and planning you are responsible for overseeing the inventory operations within the Well-Dyne engagement. This role involves managing stock levels, ensuring accurate inventory records, and implementing effective inventory control procedures. The inventory and planning Manager works closely with other departments, such as sourcing, external distribution partners (Well-Dyne), and others to maintain optimal inventory levels and support business operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversight of Inventory Levels: Working closely with Well-Dyne, PRISM category manager and the DVA clinical bundle team to advise on recommended stock levels, support monthly inventory counts, conduct monthly inventory reconciliation and quarterly on-site visits to establish confidence in Well-Dyne’s systems and processes.
  • Weekly Stock Orders: Performing analysis to determine weekly orders, review pricing with PRISM category manager and managing order corrections/exceptions.
  • Well-Dyne Oversight: Liaison between Well-Dyne and PRISM management. Tracking and monitoring lead times and order adjustments due to overages, shortages, damages, or substitutions.
  • Fulfillment Oversight: Monitor and update delivery notifications from pharma producers into Well-Dyne facilities.
  • Reporting and KPIs: You’ll establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory turns, fill rates and material availability to track inventory performance and provide regular reports to executive leadership.
