Manager of Operations

We’re looking for a motivated and strategic Manager of Operations to join our team!
This position will be responsible for administering and directing the Public Works Department in all areas of construction, maintenance and long term planning of public roads, storm water management, municipal drains, fleet management, traffic management, subdivision review and management, and transportation infrastructure.

The successful candidate should possess:

• 5 years experience in a Management position with road maintenance knowledge
• College Diploma or Degree in a related field; Civil Engineering Technology (CET) designation preferred
• CRS designation and/or completion of the Drainage Superintendent Course through OMAFRA considered an asset
• Project management experience and proficiency in GIS and MS software applications
• Sound financial knowledge to prepare and analyze annual operating and capital budgets based on trends and future requirements

The salary range for this position is $64.75 - $80.94 per hour based upon a 37.5 hour work week. Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. North Perth offers a comprehensive benefits and pension plan. Applications are being accepted until September 4, 2024.
