Are you passionate about protecting digital environments while empowering teams to stay productive? ITX is seeking an experienced Manager of Security who can balance strong security leadership with a focus on enabling our teams to deliver outstanding results.
As the Manager of Security, you will play a crucial role in shaping our security strategy and ensuring compliance with industry standards. You’ll work closely with teams across ITX to manage security risks, develop policies, and respond to incidents. Your mission? Keep ITX and our clients secure while allowing our teams to stay innovative and productive.
Note: This position is limited to candidates based in the United States, with a strong preference for individuals in the Greater Rochester (NY) Area. This position also requires availability for travel.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the VP of Infrastructure and Security, you’ll lead ITX’s security efforts across the organization. From day-to-day security operations to long-term strategy, you’ll be at the forefront of keeping our company and clients secure. You’ll consult with internal teams to maintain compliance with frameworks like SOC 2, PCI-DSS, and HIPAA, while also developing and evolving our security policies.
You’ll have the opportunity to mentor and lead our security team, work closely with executive leadership, and help shape the future of security at ITX. If you’re a proactive, experienced security professional who thrives on balancing security with team productivity, this role is for you.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Security Leadership: Build and maintain a comprehensive security strategy that aligns with ITX’s goals and report on security risks and activities to Executive Leadership.
• Compliance Management: Ensure compliance with SOC 2 and support internal teams with additional frameworks like PCI-DSS and HIPAA.
• Policy Development: Create and update policies, procedures, and standards to support the company’s objectives and meet client needs.
• Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate security risks. Develop and maintain a risk management framework that integrates with ITX’s security policies.
• Incident Management: Lead the investigation and resolution of security incidents, protecting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of ITX’s systems.
• Team Management and Collaboration: Mentor the security team and collaborate with the Executive Team to advance security awareness and continuous improvement. Partner with the Production Support team to implement automated security controls.

ITX HAS TEAM MEMBERS IN MANY COUNTRIES, AND WE USE THE SAME METHODOLOGY FOR DETERMINING PAY FOR ALL OUR TEAMMATES. FOR CANDIDATES OUTSIDE OF THE UNITED STATES, WE USE LOCAL MARKET DATA TO DETERMINE THE BENCHMARK RANGE FOR THE ROLE.
