Description:
Your role is to manage a team of experts in the 3 digital professions: UX Writing, Visual Design and Customer Experience Design. Your ability to develop talent and achieve results allows you to effectively manage people, develop the skills of the resources that report to you and support the development of best practices for these professions. You will also have to manage the assignment of your resources across the various projects and help ensure the consistency of our digital solutions. You will also be able to act as a sponsor of initiatives that allow the democratization of our digital solutions. More specifically, you will be required to:
- Develop best practices for each of the three professions and act as a sponsor for initiatives aimed at implementing them. Ex: Integration of the DSD into DGAG, use of inclusive writing, reinforcement of mobile-first development…
- Support the resources in your team in their skills and career development
- Plan the capacity management of all resources across projects
- Act as a privileged point of contact with the group’s equivalent teams and contribute to the three communities of practice.
- Participate in the Digital Experience Table and select project steering committees to ensure consistency in our digital solutions
- Monitor our competitors’ digital solutions and industry best practices
- Act as a sponsor on cross-functional digital development initiatives
- Act as the main point of contact with the UX research team and guide the various POs and project sponsors to establish the right UX research strategy

What you bring to the table
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Design or a related field
- A minimum of nine years of relevant experience including experience in a management role
- Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
- Intermediate knowledge of English and French due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
- Good knowledge of best practices in development of digital solution and associated professions
- Knowledge of P&C insurance
