Your opportunity:
You will have a key role in driving and supporting our smelters in Sweden, Finland and Norway in implementing best practices, principles and tools to reach the next level of operational excellence. This role is new to Boliden so you have the possibility to really put your touch together with the team.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Develop a robust continuous improvement strategy in partnership with the Production Managers, Smelters Management Team and key business stakeholders
  • Support delivery of change initiatives in our operations. Develop and contribute towards improvement standards in line with best practice
  • Provide project management, analytical skills and expertise within lean manufacturing
  • Coach and facilitate teams and individuals to identify and implement improvement opportunities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure optimal performance

What you bring:

As a person you need to be pro-active and cooperative to work well with others in cross-functional teams.

  • Proven experience from implementing Lean Manufacturing in process industry
  • A master’s degree in manufacturing, engineering and/or business administration
  • Excellent leadership and management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to create long-term relationships
  • Ability to lead a variety of cross-functional team members
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
  • Competent in problem solving, team building and planning
  • Experience in project management
  • Certified in Lean Management
  • English language both written and verbal. Swedish and Finish are a merit.

Terms of employment:
The position involves a fulltime permanent employment with the trial period of 6 months. Salaries at Boliden are determined individually; therefore, please indicate your requested salary. Start date as soon as possible.
