Description:
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Technology, or similar field
- 5+ years of IT Management experience
- 7+ years of overall IT experience
- Experience with Retail, Point-of-Sale, or Gaming systems
- Ability to shift priorities and manage demands/timelines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Working knowledge of personnel supervision
- Working knowledge of providing technology and application solutions
- Excellent skills in leading meetings, estimating, monitoring work, problem-solving, error correction, and project management
- Process Reengineering/Business Process Improvement skills
- Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities:
- Manages the technical staff in supporting the application systems.
- Hires, trains, and develops qualified staff. Provides coaching, mentoring, and performance assessments on a timely basis, conflict management, discipline, remediation, and termination.
- Oversees functioning of the application systems that support the gaming, retail, and operations departments.
- Manages the staff’s execution of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) in delivering new capabilities to the user community.
- Ensures technical documentation is current and complete for all aspects of the system.
- Works to maintain the integrity of the system’s data and interfacing systems.
- Stays current with new software and hardware technologies that can benefit the system.
- Fosters a working environment that stresses the importance of teamwork, communication, and customer service.
- Develops an annual operating capital budget for the group/department.
- Identifies requirements and opportunities where IT can add value.
- Works with system users to answer questions and ensure user requests are completed as specified within the time required.Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
