The Manager of Organizational Learning and Development, reporting to the Director, Organizational Development Services, is a new position resulting from the unique and exciting fusion of NAIT’s Instructional Development function and the Organizational Learning and Development team.
This new role will be tasked with creating a high performing team culture that ensures the effective development and delivery of innovative, inclusive, and accessible instructional development and organization-wide employee training programs. The successful candidate will play a critical role in enhancing the quality of education delivered by academic staff to students, as well as the professional growth of all employees across the organization. The position combines strategic oversight with hands-on management to foster innovation, drive program effectiveness, and support a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- A related undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in formal or project-based leadership.
- Experience in developing and administering organizational learning systems, programs, and initiatives.
Applicants with education credentials earned outside of Canada should have their credentials evaluated by World Education Services or the International Qualifications Assessment Service (IQAS).
Remuneration: $99,247.46 - $131,487.46 annually, plus a comprehensive benefits package. (O21 - MGMT).

Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership and Planning: Develop and implement strategic learning and development plans that align with institutional goals. Analyze current trends, assess organizational needs, and design comprehensive strategies to address these needs.
- Team Management and Development: Manage and develop a diverse team that will include a variety of positions including specialists and admin roles. Provide guidance, mentorship, and performance management to foster a inclusive, collaborative and innovative environment.
- Program Oversight and Implementation: Oversee the administration and execution of instructional and organizational training programs. Ensure these programs are delivered on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards with demonstrable impact.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage in regular meetings and joint projects with academic leaders, other leaders in HR, and external partners to ensure cohesive and integrated learning strategies.
- Innovation and Accountability: Drive innovation in learning practices, manage complex challenges, and ensure accountability within the team and programs.
