JOB DESCRIPTION & SUMMARY

Job Overview:
The Manager will oversee the entire talent lifecycle for future Partner candidates and current Partners within the consulting business.
This role is integral to ensuring the selection of high-caliber candidates who align with the company’s strategic goals and values.
The manager will work closely with senior leadership, and various stakeholders to manage, refine, and execute the LoS admissions process efficiently and effectively, incorporating development and assessment centers as a critical component of the process.
Candidate preparation with just-in-time development interventions is a key component of this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Process Management:
Develop, implement, and manage the end-to-end partner admissions process.
Ensure compliance with internal policies and industry standards.
Continuously review and refine the admissions process to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Development and Assessment Centers:
Design and implement development and assessment centers as part of the talent lifecycle.
Coordinate the logistics and execution of these centers, ensuring they align with the firm’s strategic objectives.
Utilize the assessment center results to provide a comprehensive evaluation of candidate competencies and potential.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Collaborate with senior leadership to understand strategic needs and align the admissions process accordingly.
Serve as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders involved in the admissions process.
Facilitate communication between candidates and the admissions committee.
Candidate Evaluation:
Oversee the assessment and selection process for partner candidates.
Coordinate the collection and review of candidate applications, supporting materials, and assessment center feedback.
Ensure a fair, transparent, and unbiased evaluation process.
Data Management and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of all admissions-related data.
Generate reports and provide insights to senior leadership on the progress and outcomes of the admissions process.
Utilize data to identify trends and make recommendations for process improvements.
Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure the admissions process adheres to all regulatory and legal requirements.
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Development:
Train and support team members involved in the admissions process.
Develop and deliver training programs for evaluators, interviewers, and facilitators of development and assessment centers.
Identify areas of support needed for Directors to be successful and source or develop initiatives as required.
Continuous Improvement:
Lead initiatives to improve the Partner Admissions Process based on feedback and best practices.
Implement technology solutions to streamline and enhance the admissions process.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
Master’s degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a managerial role within a consulting firm or a similar environment.
Experience in talent acquisition, HR, or admissions processes is highly desirable.
Experience with development and assessment centers is essential.
Skills:
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficient in data analysis and reporting.
Familiarity with HR software and applicant tracking systems.
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and build consensus.
