Description:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business discipline, preferably Human Resources Management or equivalent training and experience
  • Minimum of six (6) years of progressive Human Resources experience or
  • Minimum of two (2) years of leadership/supervisory
  • Biotech industry experience
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification
  • Strong experience with employee relations issues and investigations
  • High degree of personal initiative and achievement motivation, setting personal standards of excellence and ongoing performance improvement.
  • High level of self-confidence with ability to adapt to changing
  • Ability to work collaboratively and develop strong partnerships with clients and HR
  • Strong analytical skills, including reporting, synthesizing data to identify themes and creating solutions to address identified issues.
  • Professional demeanor with attention to detail and
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication
  • Advanced software skills: Microsoft Office suite of products (PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, Outlook, and Word)SharePoint, Adobe and Visio a plus Prior experience with HRIS systems, UKG or Ultimate experience highly preferred.
  • Previous experience building and implementing project plans as a lead or member of cross functional teams.

Responsibilities:

YOUR NEW ROLE AT BEND BIOSCIENCE:

We are looking for a Manager, People & Culture. In this role, you will be will directing and executing HR strategies and initiatives for the designated facility (or facilities), including employee relations, people leader coaching/partnership, employee engagement, recognition, and talent/performance management. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and developing several members of the People & Culture team as well as assisting in development and deployment of strategic initiatives across the entire organization. This position will serve as a coach to managers; advise on and implement HR plans, programs, services, practices, and policies that directly align to the business strategy. You will partner with peers to implement programs related to training & development, recruitment and onboarding, benefits education, leaves, worker’s compensation, safety, compensation, and organizational development. This position works with minimal supervision, interfaces with all levels within the organization and is responsible to independently make a broad range of critical decisions.
