Job Description
We are excited to be recruiting for a newly created Manager position within our People Experience (HR) Consulting team covering a number of our western Europe regions (Belgium, Netherlands, France, Spain and Portugal). In this position you will have Line Management responsibility for a small team of Consultants and should expect to also be hands on within the Regions and operate as a player/coach.
Our Global People Experience Consultant team partner with local Leaders on their People Management topics and are ‘in country’ specialists on local employee relations matters. We work in collaboration with our Global Centres of Expertise (CoE’s), Advisory (payroll and admin) Team based in Lisbon and deliver in line with the business strategy of our Global Functions through working closely with the Global Business Partners.

Key responsibilities include;

  • Line Management of a small team
  • Local tailoring and execution of CoE designed solutions
  • Development & delivery of differentiated tactics required in market for CoE’s, e.g., Change Management, Talent, ER and Compensation & Benefits
  • Person to person local advice & ER
  • Building local People Manager capability
  • Providing input to CoE’s to ensure designs solve real problems effectively
  • Ownership and management of country-based HR policies and processes as needed
  • Work with local leaders to identify and drive engagement strategies and activities within their teams
  • Engagement with local Unions / Works Council as required

We are looking for someone with Leadership presence, and a strong working experience of Employee Relations topics including performance and absence management, organisational change processes, CBA’s and Union engagement. You will need to be a self-starter who is action orientated, and be comfortable working independently whilst being part of a wider global team. Experience of working in a Global Organisation is essential for the role along with detailed knowledge of 2 or more of the countries within the Region.
The position can be considered for hiring in The Netherlands, Spain, France or Portugal.

Essential - Experience working in a Global Organisation, along with detailed knowledge of 2 or more of the countries within the Region
