REQUIREMENTS

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Pharmacist obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensure required relevant to state in which work is performed.

Education:

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Pharmacy required.

Work Experience:

• 3 years of experience required OR a graduate from an accredited Health System Pharmacy Administration residency program required.

Manage the national regulatory compliance program for acute care pharmacy operations.

• Facilitate enterprise-level committee meetings to gain consensus on national guidance and direction.
• Develop and implement performance improvement activities related to medication safety, compounding standards, and diversion prevention.
• Conduct assessments in areas of responsibility to support sites in achieving compliance.
• Ensure compliance with federal regulations and other relevant pharmacy rules and statutes. Also serve in a consultative capacity for these areas.
• Act as a good financial steward in all applicable projects and management activities.
