Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership, strategic direction and coordination for service planning across West Moreton Hospital and Health Service (WMHHS), to meet current and future health care needs of our community;
- Provide leadership and support (with direction from the Executive and Board) for the WMHHS Strategic Plan
- Lead and manage the delivery of programs of work to transform the way healthcare is delivered to the West Moreton community.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Highly developed skills in strategic and health service planning, including ability and experience in identifying, sourcing and analysing data and interpreting and describing health service and population activity and trends.
- High-level program and project management skills and experience, with a proven record of leading programs that have delivered successful and effective outcomes that are aligned with organisational objectives within a large, complex and distributed service delivery organisation.
- Highly developed writing, communication, negotiation and influencing skills appropriate to an environment of change and continuous improvement and a commitment to collaborative leadership.
- Sector-wide knowledge and broad health sector experience enabling the implementation of best practice within the WMHHS Strategy and Planning portfolio.
- Negotiation, consultation, facilitation and written and oral communication skills, with the proven ability to develop effective working and strategic relationships and partnerships with a wide variety of senior internal and external stakeholders in an overall environment of change and evolution.
