Manager, Project Management
For our ambitious, fast-growing team in Copenhagen, we are looking for a Manager, Project Management. Working in the Project Management Office, you will take a leading role in managing the Project management team and executing complex Engineering projects You will be responsible for developing project management talent, optimizing resource allocation, and ensuring that all projects align with organizational goals and timelines while proactively managing risks and stakeholder communications.
The Team and Department
The Project Management team plays an essential role in the Project Management Office as the area delivering strategic investment projects from our Site Master Plan. To that efficiently the function must ensure high-level resource planning, coordination, and execution of investment projects throughout the organization on the site in Copenhagen. This means a wide range of projects to cover improvements in operations, utilities, labs, and office buildings. This team is responsible for optimizing resource use, engaging with end users, and conducting risk and issue management. The goal is to ensure successful project delivery, mitigate potential risks, and continuously improve project performance and collaboration across the organization.
The Role
The Manager, Project Management is responsible for leading a team of project managers managing Engineering projects of significant size, cost, or complexity. This role will oversee the entire lifecycle of project planning and execution, ensuring that progress, budgets, risks, and impacts are monitored and reported effectively. Additionally, the Manager will be responsible for developing and mentoring project management talent within the team, ensuring that PM practices align with organizational guidelines and KPI’s.

- Effectively allocate and manage project management resources to optimize performance.
- Oversee the coordination and progress of ongoing projects, ensuring deadlines, scope, and budget adherence.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate potential project risks and safety concerns to ensure smooth execution and delivery.
- Provide regular updates and performance reports to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Lead the development, growth, and mentorship of the Project Management team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Support Engineering innovation initiatives by integrating project management expertise into innovative solutions.
