Description:

A DAY OUT OF THE LIFE OF A PROCESS ENGINEER:

Working at KONI is anything but ordinary. While it might sound like a cliché, we’d like to paint a vivid picture of what our daily routine looks like.
Around 7:45 AM, our amazing colleagues, affectionately known as ‘ITTers,’ start arriving at our vibrant office located on the ground floor of our brand-new building in Oud Beijerland. The energy is contagious as they settle in for the day ahead.
Meanwhile, our production department has already been hard at work for over three hours, kicking off their day at 6 AM sharp. They’re the heartbeat of our operation, manufacturing MKI and MKII products round the clock. After a brief meeting with our dedicated operators to set the daily agenda, we dive into the day’s tasks.
As the morning sun peeks through the windows, our production team takes a well-deserved break, sipping on steaming cups of coffee, perhaps accompanied by a snack or two. Then, when noon rolls around, we all gather for a communal lunch, strengthening our bonds as a team.
In the post-lunch hours, some of our ITTers like to clear their minds with a refreshing walk amidst the natural beauty of Oud Beijerland, just behind our factory. Others prefer to stay indoors, tackling various tasks and challenges that come their way.
Our plant is constantly abuzz with activity, hosting daily visitors. Whether they’re suppliers, potential partners, customers, or potential new colleagues (who we affectionately call candidate-ITTers), we enthusiastically share our story and give tours of our facilities. The innovative processes and Lean approach on our FSD assembly lines never fail to leave a lasting impression on our guests.
But what happens when things don’t go as planned? At KONI, we tackle challenges head-on. We foster a proactive attitude among our ITTers and have built a culture that values development in all its forms, always seeking input from every team member. It’s the only way we can keep improving ourselves.
And you—yes, you, whether you’re already a part of our ITTer family or aspire to be one in the future—you are the heart and soul of what makes KONI thrive. We want to understand what drives you, your ambitions, and why you choose to join us each morning. Do you see opportunities for growth? Do you have fresh insights to share? Let us know, because together, we’ll make KONI an even greater success.
