Responsibilities:

  • Understand and influence the demand requirements at global level from Global – Regional & Local Stakeholders for a particular spend area. Ultimate responsible for the Affiliate spend to be sourced with best value and service to PMI
  • Manage relationship with all the Function Owners, senior stakeholders, and suppliers for the market.
  • Deliver end to end sourcing strategies in line with overall global & functional strategies and aligned to business strategies and priorities
  • Position the Account role towards internal (functional and non-functional) and external business partners as strategic procurement.
  • Adapt and implement coherent global and/or regional category sourcing strategies, based on business requirements and supply market trends to drive economies of scale and secure lowest procurement cost (TCO) and value for money.
  • Drive strategic negotiation and contracting excellence.
  • Improve the performance of the team (solid and fluid workforce) by setting clear objectives, reviewing achievements, assessing training needs and providing development opportunities
  • Establish global/regional supplier-relationships management practices with major suppliers and industry leaders.
  • Perform best-in-class supplier evaluation & negotiation via analysis of supply & demand trends to bring best value to PMI
  • Drive cost category management and demand management in the market and in strong collaboration with Global procurement function
  • Implement sustainability ambitions in relevant categories and supply base: Ecovadis, RSP, CDP, CO2 reduction, deforestation free, SBT
