POSITION SUMMARY:
As a Manager on the Product Innovation team, you will be a vital contributor to advancing our portfolio of PBM network products to meet plan sponsor and member needs on lowering costs and improving member experience. In managing multiple core Drug Discount Program products, you will be critical to the successful growth of the PBM business. You will simultaneously sustain established, proven solutions and drive new innovation, leveraging our entire suite of CVS Health enterprise assets to their fullest potential.
In this role, you will:
- Support advancement of existing products with new and innovative approaches to deliver enterprise value, as well as investigate and deliver on new and disruptive product strategies.
- Assist in development and execution of strategic and tactical product plans, market analyses, identification of new product opportunities, and coordination of market and product research.
- Present outcomes, findings, project plans, and recommendations to leadership to guide strategic decisions in alignment with business goals
- Work autonomously on multiple projects according to priorities given by Director
- Manage direct Drug Discount Program client relationships, including leading negotiations and contracting efforts, and support Sales & Account teams in managing PBM client relationships
This role is a HYBRID position and can be located near any PBM or Corporate Office Location
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of experience within the healthcare industry
- 5+ years experience supporting product innovation or a similar industry/focus with analytical, strategic, and advisory experience
- Willingness and ability to learn quickly and “dive in” as needed
- Validated capability conducting and managing quantitative and qualitative analysis, with fine attention to detail
- Strong relationship-building and influencing skills to champion effective and efficient cooperation across the team and the organization
- Highly developed communication and presentation skills to present issues, recommendations, and implementation plans to senior management
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- PBM industry experience
- Familiarity with managing regulatory and compliance requirements
- Certifications or strong understanding of project management processes and tools
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification
