Overview
Mastercard’s Checkout Services team is responsible for enhancing the online payment experience for merchants and cardholders through our tokenization, authentication, and value-added services. The Secure Card-on-File Team works closely with some of the largest global E-commerce companies to create solutions that ensure card on file payments are made securely and successfully.

Role

  • Own Card on File product constructs, strategy, and work to evolve the services based on new use cases & customers
  • Partner with Franchise to ensure all Mastercard contracts, rules, and guidelines align with customer use cases
  • Work with regional teams and customers directly (when required) to document use cases and recommend on-boarding path to fit their needs
  • Manage Card on File product development tied to enhancements and new functionality
  • Align across product groups to ensure that all new services fit within proper defined product constructs
  • Ability to gather and write clear requirements and follow Product Management best practices

All About You

  • Strong product management experience with excellent business acumen, people management and relationship building skills with a strong focus on user-centric products and design.
  • Excellent verbal communication, comfortable presenting, influencing and negotiating at senior management level, able to shift gears for audiences from different business disciplines of varying technical ability.
  • Proven record of writing concise and accurate documentation with thorough attention to detail.
  • Strong technical competency in technology, user experiences, web services, architecture and APIs, able to understand complex technical concepts, business needs, competitive offering and industry trends and apply them to real-world problems to deliver solutions.
  • Strong work ethic and highly organized, holding self and others to high standards, able to work autonomously and as part of a team, fostering a positive team culture in line with Mastercard values of trust, partnership, agility and initiative.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in directly and indirectly managing teams across a global organizational structure.
  • Agile mindset to product management, project management and software development with experience in agile methodologies.
  • Domain knowledge or experience in payments, mobile, EMV, contactless, magnetic stripe, Global Platform, transaction authorization and clearing processing advantageous.
  • Engineering, Computer Science degree or equivalent advantageous.
  • Gets the job done.
