Description:

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Technical Project Manager to join our Freestyle Content team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the development and execution of project plans while ensuring seamless communication and collaboration among our internal content stakeholder, Content Management System (CMS) and Freestyle Operating System (fOS) teams. Project management responsibilities include the coordination and completion of projects on time within budget and within scope, overseeing all aspects of projects, setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities and monitoring and summarizing progress of projects, and preparing reports for upper management regarding the status of projects.
This role will assist the Content Team with timely collection, tracking and workflow approvals required for the deployment of new content. This Project Management role acts as a liaison between the Quality Assurance (QA), marketing, and R&D team members that require review of specific content on dispensers in the lab. The Project Manager reviews open JIRA tickets, resolves authoring issues, identifies root cause, and oversees to final resolution. Other responsibilities include management of high priority tasks for new platforms, recipe reformulations, CMS releases and fOS releases.
The preferred candidate will have demonstrated successful requirements documentation and prioritization in a product development environment that spans the entire product development lifecycle from idea scoping to deployment to sustainment. Candidate should be a self-starter and collaborative team player with the ability to work in an ambiguous environment and shall provide documented success stories of projects or programs.

Key responsibilities:

  • Act as CMS Subject Matter Expert (SME) to assist with troubleshooting content issues in the fOS Simulator tool as well as in the field, and monitor solutions to content authoring, asset management, recipe revisions, engineering data, caloric data, CMS bugs or fOS bugs.
  • Manage JIRA tickets and provides Retrospective on each Content Release to review lessons learned and identify areas of improvement, following through until improvements have been completed.
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders and coordinate internal resources for the flawless deployment of Freestyle content and software.
  • Meet with ecosystem owners for CMS and software owners for fOS to clarify specific requirements of each project, prioritize business requirements, and develop a detailed plan to monitor and track progress.
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques that include manual spreadsheets, in-flight reports, pivot tables, and Gantt charts.
  • Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals.
  • Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs.
  • Take ownership of triage committee responsible for troubleshooting content/software issues identified in field and follow through until root cause has been identified.
  • Back up Content team as needed with content authoring and reporting.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree required; preferably in Business, Engineering, Computer science or Design.

Related Work Experience and Knowledge Skills:

  • 5+ years’ experience in requirements documentation, analysis, prioritization, verification, and management practices and the ability to apply them.
  • 5+ years’ experience in the practice of requirements analysis according to a product development life cycle in a team environment.
