Description:
True North Sports + Entertainment is True North Sports + Entertainment is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Manager, Quality Assurance to join our team.
The Manager, Quality Assurance is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our hospitality services by maintaining and developing databases, creating insightful dashboards, performing data analysis, and managing various quality assurance tasks. The ideal candidate will also support the development of opening and closing checklists, assist in the development of an inventory system, oversee recipe entries, lead culinary inventory counts, and project manage the setup of KFC stands within the arena.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Data Science, or a relatedfield.
- Proven experience in database management, data analysis, and dashboard development.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience in the hospitality industry. particularly in a sports or entertainment venue is an asset.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and culinary operations is an asset.Experience with SQL is an asset.

Responsibilities:
Database Maintenance and Development:
- Support the maintenance and development of hospitality-related databases.
Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all systems.
Dashboard Development & Data Analysis:
Create and maintain dashboards to provide actionable insights for the hospitality team.
- Utilize data visualization tools to present data in an easily understandable format.
- Perform detailed analysis of hospitality data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Generate reports to support decision-making processes.
Quality Assurance:
Develop and implement quality assurance protocols.
- Conduct regular quality assurance checks to ensure compliance with standards.
Review post-event surveys, track and support the performance root cause analysis and remediationactivities.
Operational Support:
Assist in the development and implementation of opening and closing checklists.
Inventory Management:
Play a key role in the implementation of an inventory system.
- Ensure all items served have recipes accurately reflected in the inventory system.
- Lead continuous improvement of inventory counts in culinary areas.
- Perform audits of event and monthly inventory counts within the inventory system.
- Train staff on the use of the inventory system.
Monitor and troubleshoot any issues related to the inventory system to ensure smooth operations.
KFC Project Management:
Project manage the setup of KFC stands within the arena.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient project completion.
