The Manager Roads and Maintenance is a crucial role within our City Operations directorate, ensuring that the delivery of essential road infrastructure services our growing community. The role will have a unique opportunity to shape and uplift how Council delivers our road management services and to ensure a safe workplace.
You will be responsible for leading a capable and experienced department, providing road design, construction and maintenance services, including cleansing and drainage, and road rehabilitation. You will also work with a range of delivery partners and stakeholders to influence outcomes for Wyndham’s community including contractors, developers and other external stakeholders on exciting major projects.

Reporting to the Director City Operations, as part of the City Operations leadership team you will foster a culture of inclusion, safety and care for our people, contractors and community across the directorate. With a sound focus on performance through capability building, continuous improvement and service delivery excellence you will ensure that Wyndham’s services meet the needs of our growing community now and into the future.
As a dynamic, people and outcome-focused leader, you will lead teams that deliver projects and manage Council roads assets with high levels of customer and community satisfaction. Working closely with the Director to achieve Council’s strategic ambition, champion the Wyndham Values and contributing to long-term success and positive community outcomes.
With a solid background in change leadership, project delivery, service planning and/or maintenance delivery in large, complex and dynamic organisations, you are well positioned to ensure Council has the right service and delivery models in place to meet service levels efficiently and effectively.
