Responsibilities:
ROLE SUMMARY
Talabat has grown to become a very large business. Its main platform, the food platform, is growing at a very fast pace from an extremely large base.
As Sales Performance Manager, you will be responsible for developing a strong understanding of our performance across all our activities across the vendor journey on Talabat - lead management, acquisition, Incubation, and finally growth (account management). You will work closely with sales heads for each of the functions as your business owners.
- Build and own a scalable process for incentivizing all functions in the sales team. You’ll have the opportunity to work across teams and markets by devising the rewards strategy for the sales team and ensuring their performance yields the right results for the company
- Deliver insights for the sales performance team and the Talabat management on performance, gaps, and growth levers for all the sales teams in the countries
- Create easily accessible data and tracking for the local sales teams
You will have a mentality of continuous improvement and strong analytical and interpersonal skills. You will enjoy working in a delivery-focused, agile start-up environment.
You must have the maturity to work independently on a day-to-day basis and have the wisdom to know when to collaborate, delegate, and/or escalate.
You will be responsible for end-to-end analysis of the sales performance function along with devising, computing, and managing the process of payouts of sales bonuses for the UAE sales team. This will entail in in-depth analysis of sales targets, achievements & overall analytical insights on the framework, payouts and consequently needed changes. In particular, you will focus on the following:
- Devising incentive structures • Responsible for optimizing our sales performance by influencing the bonus KPIs • Payout to be aligned with overall company goals and objectives • Synthesise performance trends and business performance • Identify and highlight opportunities for performance improvement • Develop reporting material in a succinct, visual manner
- Stakeholder management • Align with various function heads to manage and streamline the E2E process
- Data reporting & visualization • In-depth, regular reporting of all performance metrics being tracked • Analysis of team performance, earnings, P&L impact, and overall bonus framework complete with dashboarding & visualization
- Sharing insights with the management team • Creating the visualization and views needed to show progress reports identifying gaps and inefficiencies in different cities. Sharing insights with city managers to fuel further growth.
- Real-time numbers, tracking, and insights for the local sales teams • Building in-depth reports and dashboards needed by the local sales teams (heads and account managers) to track their portfolio in real-time • End goal is to ensure that the sales do not struggle to find the data they need to deliver valuable insights to the partners as well being easily able to identify the growth levers for the country Reward
