[What the role is]
Lead and manage the Security & Event team by overseeing security systems, outsourced security services, AV equipment, and car park management. Ensure smooth execution of major events and compliance with regulatory requirements. Provide guidance and strategic planning for team development.

[What you will be working on]

• Lead and manage the operation, maintenance, upgrades & other services related to security systems such as CCTV System, Access Control System.
• Lead and manage the operation, maintenance and upgrading of Audio Visual equipment at major event venues.
• Overseeing and managing the outsourced security services to provide safety and security to the occupants of the campus.
• Managing the car park through outsourced car park management vendor.
• Providing support and ensure smooth execution of major events such as Open House, Graduation, Ministerial visits and other big scale external events etc
• Providing support to external agencies and authorities such as SPF, SCDF, MHA etc. in regards to safety and security matters.
• Ensuring regulatory requirements from government agencies and statutory boards are complied with.
• Provide guidance, mentorship and motivation to Team members.
• Plan and strategize for the Team to be Future Ready.

[What we are looking for]

• Have relevant degree and minimum 5 years of related work experience out of which 2 years are in leadership role.
• Good interpersonal, leadership and communication (verbal & written) skills.
• Data analytic or relevant IT knowledge is a bonus.
• Experienced in managing outsourced service providers.
• Experienced in Security Management or Security Risk Management.
• Advantageous to possess relevant qualifications such as FSM certification, PLRD license, other safety and security qualifications or equivalent.
